History of the Hotel

1972          Grand opening of the Tourotel in Munich Schwabing.

2000          Renaming of the Tourotel to Parkhotel Schwabing.

2006          Renovation of the Parkhotel Schwabing.

2007          Renaming of the Parkhotel Schwabing to Tulip Inn München Schwabing.

2009          Annexe of the Golden Tulip Munich City.

                   Merge of the two hotels and renaming of the Tulip Inn München  
                   Schwabing to Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Munich City.

                   Start of extensive renovation works of the Tulip Inn Munich City.
               
                   Since September the new operating company of the Golden Tulip &
                   Tulip Inn Munich City is the Prime Hospitality Germany GmbH. Since then, the 
                   hotels Golden Tulip Cleve, Tulip Inn Wolfenbüttel and Golden Tulip Hamburg
                            Aviation are part of that company as well.
                   
2010         Completion of the refurbishment of most parts of the Tulip Inn Munich City.
